Is it still a gift or already a story?

What would you think if a small package suddenly appeared on your desk—containing a slightly rotten piece of pineapple?

This is exactly what happened.
Not a classic promotional gift. Not a polished product.
But a deliberately chosen moment to pause.

Because this pineapple stands for something we rarely see:
tons of valuable fruit that spoil every year before ever reaching a market.

With our first package, we didn’t want to bring joy.
We wanted to ask a question:
How much potential do we waste every single day simply because the right structures are missing?

This unusual initiative marks the beginning of a journey.
A story that will unfold piece by piece.

And maybe change starts exactly like this…
Not with perfect images, but with an honest look at reality.

…Has your package arrived yet?

Uganda’s soil is very fertile. Almost anything you can imagine grows here.

This includes pineapples of the Smooth Cayenne variety.
Nevertheless, post-harvest losses for fresh fruit can reach up to 80%, mainly because suitable storage and processing facilities are lacking.

Uganda is a landlocked country. Refrigerated transport to the coast and then onward to Europe is practically unaffordable.
But there is a solution.

More on that soon…
