Kerstin Wolf is a business economist and worked for 20 years as a procurement manager in large corporations. In 2019, she decided to take a sabbatical to work as a volunteer consultant for Managers Without Borders in Uganda. Her assignment was in the solar sector at All in Trade. The enthusiasm for the potential of decentralized solar energy to develop the country’s economy has stayed with her ever since. Together with All in Trade, she launched the “Solar Powered Fruit Drying” project, which focuses especially on using solar thermal energy to power the drying ovens.

Through the involvement of All in Trade in a larger research initiative in solar heating and cooling in Africa, the team gained another collaborator: DI Dr. techn. Daniel Neyer, MSc. He is passionate about the practical application of solar heat in the agro-food sector and, thanks to his technical and scientific expertise, is the perfect complement to the team.

Daniel Neyer is the founder and managing director of Neyer Brainworks GmbH. He is also a Senior Researcher in the Energy-Efficient Building Unit at the University of Innsbruck and a lecturer at several Austrian universities. He is a Diplom-Ingenieur with degrees in eco-energy engineering and domotics, as well as a Doctor of Technical Sciences. His dissertation focuses on the evaluation and component development of next-generation solar heating and cooling systems.

His long-standing experience in solar energy, building technology, and international R&D projects makes him a key contributor to the implementation of solar-powered agro-processing solutions in Uganda.

Sabrina Platzer is an Executive Assistant with a commercial/business education and ten years of experience in international sales. Within the company, she is responsible for finance, sales, and accounting.

Robert Moosbrugger (Mag., MSc, MSc) is the Impact Manager at NB and has over 20 years of international experience in development cooperation. As a doctoral candidate at the University of Burgos (Spain), he researches hybrid business models. In his role as Impact Manager, he supports strategic corporate development, analyzes the company’s socio-economic impacts, develops funding proposals, and manages grant administration.

Manuel Ostheimer (BSc, MSc, MA) completed an apprenticeship as an electrician and holds degrees in mechatronics and energy management. Within the company, he contributes his technical R&D expertise and is responsible for the technical development and optimization of the Farm2Fork system solution.

Florian Gritzer (DI (FH), MSc, MA) holds Master’s degrees in European Energy Management, Domotics, and Technical Production Management. His core areas of expertise include numerical building and system simulation, energy efficiency, sustainable thermal and electrical energy systems, heat pumps, energy storage, and solar heating and cooling, as well as the measurement and analysis of various thermal and electrical energy systems.

Within the company, he applies his technical R&D expertise and is responsible for the further development and optimization of production processes.

Bianca Fetzel is a trained graphic designer and completed education in retail management and office administration. She also has experience in the events sector. Bianca is the founder and president of the ArtInk Club Academy, and has organized numerous trade fairs, social projects, and charity events. Within the company, she is responsible for marketing, social media, and sales.
